What to Expect at Your Visit

Veneer placement typically takes multiple visits:

  1. Consultation & Planning: Dr. Long will review your goals, take X-rays, and create a personalized treatment plan.

  2. Tooth Preparation: A small portion of enamel (about half a millimeter) is removed to allow the veneer to fit comfortably.

  3. Impressions: Molds of your teeth are taken and sent to a dental lab to fabricate your custom veneers.

  4. Temporary Veneers (if needed): While your permanent veneers are being made, temporary ones may be placed.

  5. Placement: Once ready, veneers are bonded to your teeth using a special dental cement. An ultraviolet light may be used to set the bond quickly.

  6. Follow-Up: A follow-up visit ensures your veneers fit perfectly, feel comfortable, and look natural.
